Tom Yam Kung – Dit is een heldere soep met grote garnalen. Ik maak de soep zoals mijn oma dat deed. De soep is licht en niet vet.
Smaak
De soep smaakt fris en een beetje scherp. Ik gebruik veel citroengras en laos (Thaise gember). Limoensap en pepers maken de smaak af. Je proeft ook de verse garnalen en champignons.
Kruiden
Ik trek de bouillon zelf van verse kruiden. De grote stukken kruiden laat ik in de soep liggen. Zo blijft de smaak sterk. Je eet deze harde stukken niet op.
Pittigheid
De soep is standaard licht pittig. In Nederland regent het vaak en is het koud. Deze warme soep helpt daar goed tegen. Wil je de soep scherper? Geef dat door bij je bestelling.
